Gary Dennis - REALTOR ® / Veteran
Meet Gary Dennis: Your Local Columbia SC REALTOR® / Veteran
I retired from the Air Force after 20 years of faithful service as a Crew Chief. I worked the F-15 C,D,& E aircraft, supervised up to 120 airmen at a time, managed maintenance facilities, training, and flying operations. I directly supported military operations around the globe such as Operation Southern Watch, Allied Force, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and South Korea Service. In support of these operations and service, I had the pleasure of calling North Carolina, United Kingdom, Florida, Japan, and finally South Carolina my home. Before my military service I grew up in North Carolina outside of Charlotte learning great values from my parents that also supported my military core values.
Why I’m Different
My goal is to help anyone capture a piece of the “American Dream” by owning a home. My core values “Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in all I do” have been instilled form growing up as a young man to serving in the Air Force and finally as a member of the Central Carolina Realtors Association. These core values help me serve the people of South Carolina as a Realtor; providing unmatched customer service and time saving experience when selling or purchasing a home.
I Believe in Giving Back
I am a firm believer in education for our youth. My mother is a retired school teacher in both North and South Carolina. My brother and his wife work in North Carolina as teacher and my wife work’s for Richland 2 School District in Richland County SC working in special education. I hear about the challenges of teaching all the time. I donate a portion of each commission to the local Elementary School Lonnie B. Nelson for books and anything they need that is not covered by budgets. Not only do I donate money, I am the PTO President for the Lonnie B. Nelson. I would love to donate all I can to the school but if a client has a favorite charity I donate to that charity instead if the client wishes.
In My Free Time
I love to read, study history, go fishing, visit the beach, watch football, baseball, swimming, and enjoying my 2014 Heritage Softail Classic Harley Davidson. I am also a huge Auburn and Redskins football fan, even though I have to give the Florida State some love because my wife is an Alumni. I also am a huge fan of our local NY Mets affiliate baseball team the Columbia Fireflies, and you can find me at a lot of the games.
